The Ganges Flow: Color, Joy and Sorrow

An afternoon stroll by the shores of the Ganges. It could be any other river, I mean riverside strolls are always a must, except it wouldn’t be as inspiring. The way that people feel the river, the way they relate to it is something different, something quite special on a spiritual level, but also on a very mundane one… You can feel the joy along its margins, wether in a nice boat ride or on a refreshing bath. You can also feel sorrow, when you witness cremations and all the funerary rituals… Above all, it’s a privilege to feel such disparity of emotions, all with a stroll along a river… all underlined in shiny bright colors…
